Aston Martin Lagonda Global Holdings plc is a Uk independent manufacturer of luxury sports cars and fantastic tourers. It was founded in 1913 by Lionel Martin and Robert Bamford. Steered from 1947 simply by David Brown, it grew to become associated with expensive grand touring cars in the year 1950s plus 1960s, and with the fictional character James Relationship following his use of a DB5 model in the particular 1964 film Goldfinger. Their own sports cars are regarded as a British cultural icon. Aston Martin has held a Royal Warrant as purveyor of motorcars to the Prince of Wales since 1982. This has over 150 vehicle dealerships in over 50 countries on six areas, making them a worldwide vehicle brand. The company will be traded at the Greater london Stock Exchange and is a constituent from the FTSE 250 Index.
Headquarters and major production site are in Gaydon, Warwickshire, England, alongside one of Jaguar Property Rover's development centres on the website of a former RAF V Bomber airbase. One of Aston Martin's current cars was named after the 1950s Avro Vulcanbomber. Aston Martin has introduced plans to turn alone into a global high-class brand, and is increasingly branching out into projects including speed boats, bicycles, clothing and real property development, even submarines and aircraft, mostly on the certification basis
