Aston Martin Lagonda Global Holdings plc is a British independent manufacturer of luxury sports cars and grand tourers. It was founded in 1913 by Lionel Martin and Robert Bamford. Steered from 1947 simply by David Brown, it became associated with expensive grand touring cars in the year 1950s plus 1960s, and with the fictional character James Relationship following his using the DB5 model in the 1964 film Goldfinger. Their own sports cars are regarded as a British cultural icon. Aston Martin provides held a Royal Justify as purveyor of motorcars to the Prince associated with Wales since 1982. This has over 150 vehicle dealerships in over 50 countries on six regions, making them a worldwide automobile brand. The company will be traded at the London Stock Exchange and is a constituent from the FTSE 250 Index.
Headquarters and main production site are in Gaydon, Warwickshire, England, alongside one of Jaguar Land Rover's development centres on the website of a former RAF V Bomber airbase. One of Aston Martin's recent cars was named right after the 1950s Avro Vulcanbomber. Aston Martin has introduced plans to turn alone into a global luxurious brand, and is progressively branching out into projects including speed boats, bicycles, clothing and real estate development, even submarines and aircraft, mostly on a license basis
