Aston Martin Lagonda Global Holdings plc is a Uk independent manufacturer of high-class sports cars and great tourers. It was started in 1913 by Lionel Martin and Robert Bamford. Steered from 1947 simply by David Brown, it became associated with expensive great touring cars in the 1950s and 1960s, and with the fictional character James Connection following his using the DB5 model in the particular 1964 film Goldfinger. Their sports cars are regarded as a British social icon. Aston Martin offers held a Royal Justify as purveyor of motorcars to the Prince of Wales since 1982. It has over 150 vehicle dealerships in over fifty countries on six continents, making them a worldwide car brand. Headquarters and main production site are within Gaydon, Warwickshire, England, together with one of Jaguar Property Rover's development centres on the website of a former RAF V Bomber airbase. Aston Martin has introduced plans to turn by itself into a global luxurious brand, and is significantly branching out into tasks including speed boats, bicycles, clothing and real property development, even submarines and aircraft, mostly on a license basis
