Aston Martin Lagonda Global Holdings plc is a Uk independent manufacturer of luxury sports cars and grand tourers. It was founded in 1913 by Lionel Martin and Robert Bamford. Steered from 1947 by David Brown, it grew to become associated with expensive great touring cars in the year 1950s plus 1960s, and with the fictional character James Relationship following his use of a DB5 model in the 1964 film Goldfinger. Their sports cars are deemed as a British cultural icon. Aston Martin provides held a Royal Justify as purveyor of motorcars to the Prince associated with Wales since 1982. It has over 150 vehicle dealerships in over fifty countries on six continents, making them a worldwide car brand. The company will be traded at the London Stock Exchange and is the constituent from the FTSE 250 Index.
Headquarters and major production site are within Gaydon, Warwickshire, England, alongside one of Jaguar Land Rover's development centres on the site of a former RAF V Bomber airbase.
