Aston Martin Lagonda Global Holdings plc is a British independent manufacturer of luxurious sports cars and grand tourers. It was founded in 1913 by Lionel Martin and Robert Bamford. Steered from 1947 simply by David Brown, it became associated with expensive fantastic touring cars in the year 1950s and 1960s, and with the fictional character James Relationship following his using the DB5 model in the 1964 film Goldfinger. Their own sports cars are considered as a British social icon. Aston Martin offers held a Royal Bring about as purveyor of motorcars to the Prince associated with Wales since 1982. It has over 150 vehicle dealerships in over fifty countries on six continents, making them a global automobile brand. The company is traded at the London Stock Exchange and is the constituent of the FTSE 250 Index.
Headquarters and main production site are within Gaydon, Warwickshire, England, together with one of Jaguar Property Rover's development centres on the website of a former RAF V Bomber airbase. One of Aston Martin's current cars was named after the 1950s Avro Vulcanbomber. Aston Martin has announced plans to turn by itself into a global high-class brand, and is significantly branching out into tasks including speed boats, bikes, clothing and real property development, even submarines and aircraft, mostly on the licensing basis
