Aston Martin Lagonda Global Holdings plc is a British independent manufacturer of luxurious sports cars and grand tourers. It was founded in 1913 by Lionel Martin and Robert Bamford. Steered from 1947 simply by David Brown, it grew to become associated with expensive fantastic touring cars in the 1950s and 1960s, and with the fictional character James Connection following his utilization of a DB5 model in the 1964 film Goldfinger. Their own sports cars are deemed as a British social icon. Aston Martin offers held a Royal Warrant as purveyor of motorcars to the Prince of Wales since 1982. It has over 150 car dealerships in over 50 countries on six continents, making them a worldwide car brand. The company will be traded at the Greater london Stock market and is the constituent of the FTSE 250 Index.

Headquarters and major production site are in Gaydon, Warwickshire, England, alongside one of Jaguar Land Rover's development centres on the site of a former RAF V Bomber airbase. 1 of Aston Martin's latest cars was named right after the 1950s Avro Vulcanbomber. Aston Martin has announced plans to turn by itself into a global high-class brand, and is significantly branching out into projects including speed boats, bikes, clothing and real estate development, even submarines plus aircraft, mostly on a certification basis
