Aston Martin Lagonda Global Holdings plc is a Uk independent manufacturer of high-class sports cars and great tourers. It was created in 1913 by Lionel Martin and Robert Bamford. Steered from 1947 by David Brown, it grew to become associated with expensive grand touring cars in the year 1950s plus 1960s, and with the fictional character James Relationship following his usage of a DB5 model in the particular 1964 film Goldfinger. Their own sports cars are considered as a British social icon. Aston Martin has held a Royal Justify as purveyor of motorcars to the Prince of Wales since 1982. This has over 150 vehicle dealerships in over fifty countries on six regions, making them a worldwide car brand. The company is usually traded at the London Stock market and is a constituent of the FTSE 250 Index.
Headquarters and main production site are in Gaydon, Warwickshire, England, alongside one of Jaguar Property Rover's development centres on the site of a former RAF V Bomber airbase. A single of Aston Martin's recent cars was named right after the 1950s Avro Vulcanbomber. Aston Martin has introduced plans to turn itself into a global luxurious brand, and is increasingly branching out into projects including speed boats, bikes, clothing and real property development, even submarines and aircraft, mostly on a certification basis
