Aston Martin Lagonda Global Holdings plc is a Uk independent manufacturer of high-class sports cars and great tourers. It was started in 1913 by Lionel Martin and Robert Bamford. Steered from 1947 by David Brown, it grew to become associated with expensive grand touring cars in the year 1950s plus 1960s, and with the fictional character James Connection following his usage of the DB5 model in the 1964 film Goldfinger. Their particular sports cars are deemed as a British ethnic icon. Aston Martin provides held a Royal Warrant as purveyor of motorcars to the Prince associated with Wales since 1982. It has over 150 car dealerships in over fifty countries on six areas, making them a worldwide vehicle brand. The company is usually traded at the London Stock market and is the constituent from the FTSE 250 Index.

Headquarters and major production site are in Gaydon, Warwickshire, England, together with one of Jaguar Land Rover's development centres on the website of a former RAF V Bomber airbase. One of Aston Martin's latest cars was named after the 1950s Avro Vulcanbomber. Aston Martin has announced plans to turn itself into a global luxurious brand, and is significantly branching out into projects including speed boats, bicycles, clothing and real estate development, even submarines and aircraft, mostly on a license basis
