Aston Martin Lagonda Global Holdings plc is a British independent manufacturer of luxurious sports cars and great tourers. It was started in 1913 by Lionel Martin and Robert Bamford. Steered from 1947 by David Brown, it became associated with expensive grand touring cars in the year 1950s and 1960s, and with the fictional character James Relationship following his using the DB5 model in the particular 1964 film Goldfinger. Their own sports cars are deemed as a British ethnic icon. Aston Martin provides held a Royal Warrant as purveyor of motorcars to the Prince of Wales since 1982. It has over 150 car dealerships in over fifty countries on six regions, making them a worldwide car brand. The company is usually traded at the Greater london Stock market and is a constituent from the FTSE 250 Index.
Headquarters and major production site are within Gaydon, Warwickshire, England, together with one of Jaguar Land Rover's development centres on the site of a former RAF V Bomber airbase. 1 of Aston Martin's recent cars was named right after the 1950s Avro Vulcanbomber. Aston Martin has introduced plans to turn by itself into a global luxurious brand, and is increasingly branching out into projects including speed boats, bikes, clothing and real estate development, even submarines plus aircraft, mostly on a licensing basis
