Aston Martin Lagonda Global Holdings plc is a British independent manufacturer of high-class sports cars and grand tourers. It was started in 1913 by Lionel Martin and Robert Bamford. Steered from 1947 simply by David Brown, it became associated with expensive grand touring cars in the 1950s and 1960s, and with the fictional character James Bond following his use of a DB5 model in the particular 1964 film Goldfinger. Their own sports cars are deemed as a British ethnic icon. Aston Martin offers held a Royal Bring about as purveyor of motorcars to the Prince of Wales since 1982. It has over 150 vehicle dealerships in over fifty countries on six areas, making them a global car brand. The company is traded at the London Stock Exchange and is the constituent of the FTSE 250 Index.
Headquarters and major production site are within Gaydon, Warwickshire, England, alongside one of Jaguar Land Rover's development centres on the site of a former RAF V Bomber airbase. 1 of Aston Martin's latest cars was named right after the 1950s Avro Vulcanbomber. Aston Martin has introduced plans to turn by itself into a global luxury brand, and is increasingly branching out into projects including speed boats, bicycles, clothing and real estate development, even submarines plus aircraft, mostly on the licensing basis
