Alfa Romeo Automobiles S. p. A. (Italian: [ˈalfa roˈmɛːo]) is an Italian luxury car producer, founded by Frenchman Alexandre Darracq as A. L. F. A. ("[Società] Anonima Lombarda Fabbrica Automobili", "Lombard Automobile Manufacturer limited liability [Company]") on 24 June 1910, in Milan. In 1921, the Banca Italiana di Sconto, which backed the E.
